Lathe

I purchased older ShopSmith mostly to use it as inexpensive lathe. Few times in the past, when I needed it, I had to improvise and use drill press to make the parts. Now I see that turning can be a lot of fun. This tool is in really good shape and has multiple configurations: table saw, drill press, drum sander etc. I am planning to use it as a lathe, horizontal bore and disk sander. Here is the first part I turned to try it.

It is made from walnut and I decided to have some fun and make a five rings around the stem, from the same piece of wood of course.
